KurtxXero Chapter 2- ParalyzerXero’s place turned out to be an apartment in Manhattan, in one of the parts for the rich and glamorous, which truly made Kurt wonder how much money this kid had, or at least, his parents.
Inside, it had been meant to be a high end loft, even giving a gorgeous view of the city; which buildings and towers shined bright in the night’s sky, looking like a postcard. But instead of deco furniture that could of cost more than an average American’s salary, it was a clutter of abstract furniture that looked like a collection of things found in flea markets and foreign locations, but even then, it looked fairly good and close to what he assumed his host’s tastes were.
But to Kurt’s own surprise, Xero didn’t head straight to the bed, instead turning to the kitchen, “I believe in a little romance in a one night stand. Like a drink or six.” As he said this, he went into his cabinet to the right of a fridge that looked like it was made sometime in the
KurtxXeroIt had been awhile since he had seen the sight of Murdoc, but that was in the back of head for now. Right now, he focused on the road, as trees and mountains began to change into a long sprawling suburb. It was near nightfall by then, children spending their last minutes of daylight.
Kurt had decided to stay around here for the night, the city skyline that grew bigger as he drove closer to it. He still had some cash on him, but the funds were draining, and sooner or later he’d have to find a way to get some money. Unfortunately, that would have to mean a stop in traveling, which he knew was inevitable, but didn’t think it would be so soon.
As he emerged into the city, he found it to be how people and pictures described it. New York City, he was unsure of the section he was in, but that didn’t matter, he just needed to find a hotel so he could stay for the night.
Eventually, he did find one; it wasn’t exactly run down, but not very well kept. But it would have to
